If you have BPH, how to prevent getting UTIs? What steps do you take?

I have got UTIs in last four years.

Any tips.

I'm not sure that prostatitis can be cured. It relapses and remits.

Has the infection been confirmed or assumed? People with prostatitis (myself as one) rarely have an active infection. Just the symptoms of infection. We are given antibiotics, which in some cases relieves symptoms due to anti-inflammatory effects of them.

Yes, uti was confirmed by urine analysis. I don’t think doctors prescribe the antibiotics without that

Doctors very much over-prescibe antibiotics. Talk to men who have typical symptoms of prostatitis. No infection, but antibiotics are very often prescribed.

Helpful to drink lots and lots of water......... drink cranberry juice frequently...
