Sulforaphane to lower PSA?

Hi all, curious here if anyone onboard has had any positive PSA lowing results, (in the 40-60 mg doses), especially it is interesting in the Ultra-ranges, using ‘Sulforaphane’, a suppliment that uses the certain positive extracts of raw broccoli, there apparently are some good indicators of it being helpful, at least to many of the reviewers of it.

Thank you!

I take Prostaphane which is the European brand name. In the US of A it is called BROQ. I take take 2 X 10mg (of sulforaphane) daily. No idea if it helps but some trials have shown that it does if you search earlier discussions in here. Ultimately it is treating the cancer not the PSA that matters but this does seem like a positive supplement to use in the armoury of our fight against prostate cancer. Good luck.

Hi, Cetma

I have been using Sulforaphane for almost a year. The brand I buy is Avmacol which, supposedly, is the one in the studies. I usually take it whenever I eat broccoli to avail myself of the added Myrosinase. As with most supplements, I can't really say how effective Sulforaphane has been since I take so many supplements. I just say Geronimo and swallow!

Thx! Tried Doublewood, and now Avmacol, the BROQ looks quite intense as well but wow it aint cheap, but if it works so be it, it was the original? Myrosinase is needed as well in the mix ,right? Broccoli extract does appear to be helpful here 🤔 Icfcpolo appears you have really had quite a ride, but now you are a great example of how things can improve with treatment!

I give my husband 60mg of Prostaphane(from France) everyday for 3 months. It’s the only sulphoraphane I trust because it has been tested. I’m not sure if it is working but after a couple months of radiation and ADT, his PSA has dropped from 9 to .16 as of today. I also give him PECTASOL and every supplement known to mankind. BROQ is supposedly the same formula but since they are basically the same price, I went with the original. Best of luck.

I buy organic broccoli and try to eat a few pieces every day, especially the stalks/stems. Often, I give my dog the florets. I believe most of the sulforphane is in the stalks and/or stems.
