End Round One

Had my first chemo 11/2 and the side effects were no joke at all, although I suppose could have been worse. Today I got out for my first longer walk, went 2 miles and I’m happy to report I don’t feel miserable. Not eagerly anticipating Round Two but at least now I know what I’m in for.

Stay positive brothers.

Glad that you are able to ride out round one with a positive attitude and resume walking for exercise.

For myself, I try to stock up on as many positive experiences as I can in preparation for when I will need the mental strength and attitude reinforcement. Because, as we all know, those darker times will come as well. Good luck and blessings for you on your journey.

please pay attention to what many guys here have posted. Not me yet. Fasting seems key 24 hrs before. Ice packs for head, hands, feet to prevent neuropathy (wear a warm coat), hair loss, plus chewing on ice to prevent the metallic taste.

Search Chemo, Docetaxel, for many hints. From what I understand it is cumulative with most having 6 treatments every 3 weeks=18 weeks. Forewarned is forearmed. Best of luck my friend
