LUTS with severe backache, hip pain and groin pain

My partner's doctor suspects that he has PC that has spread because of these symptoms. Just wanted to know how common it is to have pain in these areas with advancer prostate cancer? Thank you.

have him get a CAT SCAN and a bone scan.

Get some scans. Then if a tumor is impinging on something, maybe some local SBRT radiation treatment.

But generally localized radiation won't help if the cancer is metastasized.
