12 months hormone therapy done.

I have just completed 12 month ADT and have my annual meeting with Consultant on Monday. Had RP 2 years ago with recurrence 12 months ago in one lymph node. Origonal plan was radio therapy and 12 to 18 months of ADT. Following previous advice on here it seems 2 years ADT offers best outcome. I have some side effects but main one recently is fatigue. Any advice on what i should be asking my Consultant?

PSA has been <0.01 from when i first started ADT.

Add abiraterone for the remaining year per the STAMPEDE N1M0 trial?

TA many thanks and interesting results. Good that the programme was in the UK which should make it easier to ask for.

Slightly confused are the results better with ADT plus Abiraterone or with ADT, Abiraterone plus prednisolone?

Best results with 2 years of ADT+abiraterone+prednisolone

Get that abiraterone and keep exercising as much as you can! It will be over soon.

I would suggest to take Casodex first because it has less side effects than Zytiga plus prednisolone. That is my experience.

Is Casodex a good alternative to Zytiga?

They are not having the same function. Casodex is an anti-androgen, Zytiga stops the production of Testosterone. I had Casodex with Lupron treatment only for more than 10 years.
