Weird question

Just curious if anyone has had this. Before I was treated when I would have a bowel movement and would wipe (sorry TMI) it would sting the tip of my penis every day, only when I would wipe. Once I asked the urologist about it, he said a lot of guys have this when they have Prostate issues or PCa. So forward to post treatment it stopped immediately after treatment and never again since until the last few days. Any ideas?

In plain English are you wiping your ass and your penis tip hurts? That's what it sounds like your saying g to me. If so that sounds like a very weird connection.

If you mean your wiping your penis and it hurts I would be concerned and stay on top of it. What's the pain level? Is your PSA still climbing? Your profile is empty so maybe add what you have been through so far. Good answers require responders to have access to your diagnosis and treatment up to now. If it was a symptom prior to treatment and has returned I would be concerned. But if you had reasons to go to urologist in addition to PC related to prostate and urinary system that could be the cause maybe not as much.

Yes thats exactly what I’m saying 😅 when I wipe my ass it stings the tip.. weird right? I don’t think I have any info in bio but all the history from biopsy thru treatment is in my posts. Thanks

Very weird, but its the same thing you had before treatment correct? That would concern me as its a clear symptom. Do you have a oncologist to discuss with? Mine tells me to be sure to tell him if I have pain in the same place for as much as a week to let him know. Not that I want to put this out there but one member of this forum had PC in his penis discovered by scan. I don't remember much else about his it but it popped into my head when I read your post.

No worries about maintaining a profile but few will go through what I see as 20 posts to answer a question. Just my 2 cents.

Good luck I hope you find an answer.

Thanks, I don’t have an Oncologist just the RO who did the treatment. I agree I should call the Uro maybe to discuss. Thanks again

My theory is that by wiping your ass, especially with force, you are applying pressure to nerves (maybe even more so with an inflamed prostate) that normally would not have pressure applied to them. The end result... a burning sensation at the end of your penis.

How did I come up with this theory? When I had prostatitis, it felt like I was pissing glass through hot lava every time I voided. The urologist explained that this sensation was in part caused by nerve inflammation.

Consult with RO and Uro, maybe anti-inflammatories are in order.

Thanks. I talked to the RO, he said it didn’t sound like anything to worry about. I think the nerve pressure sounds right to me, before treatment it also hurt just sitting down, that went away post treatment as well and luckily that hasn’t resurfaced.
