I had one shot of 3 month Eligard in February and completed salvage radiation June 4th. My psa test results today is <.02 . Could the adt still be efecting psa or is this an indication the cancer cells were still in the prostate bed area? Doing a happy dance right now.

Salvage Radiation Results Question
What is your T level?
Unknown. I asked my GP to include testosterone level in my blood work in early November. What type of range would indicate t level recovery? Thanks
50+ is over castrate, 150+ is starting to recover, 250+ is getting into the normal range.
I didn't know they were checking my testosterone. It came in at 195, the test was taken in the afternoon which isn't the best time to have it measured from what I read today.
Sounds like a good PSA result with that testosterone, right?
It does to me but I am no expert. Hopefully psa stays low and doesn't increase. Thanks
I have had some difficulty figuring out where we should be at 3 months after radiation, having finished my radiation in early July. While still on ADT. There is one study that says <.09 is where it needs to be but others seem to indicate anything under <.5. To me, the fact that your testosterone has recovered somewhat and you are long off of ADT and are still <.2 is good. I'm pretty sure my RO said anything under 1.0 but everything I read indicates prognostication-wise should be lower than that at 3 months.
