I wrote my first question about 6 weeks ago when had first diagnosis of PC with Gleeson of 4:3. Had a lot of interesting and (have to say) quite confusing information as a newbie!
Now just had PSMA scan and it has metasticised with hot spots in ribs.
Going to start on ADT as soon as possible. Oncologists also discussing need for some chemo. I would welcome any thoughts and experiences. I have read all the sites and guidance documents, so know what could happen, but what is it like in the real world?
Also just getting over covid so not a great time (although much better than so many others)
I am 70, generally fit and working (not for last few weks) and live in UK.
Many thanks
Stephen

My immune is already compromised because I have a bone marrow cancer, Essential Thrombocythemia for which I take Hydroxycarbamide - chemo in a capsule, so my haematologist is also involved. We will have to be careful
You don't sound like a great candidate for chemo. Where in the UK are you? I read that Zytiga has been approved for the NHS in Scotland, but not yet in England. You may also benefit from debulking the prostate with SBRT.
