Annual exam in August showed doubling PSA from 2 to 4 and hardening of prostate. This lead to MRI, biopsy, and my decision to have robotic removal which was performed Dec 19. Cath removed Dec 31. Resumed hiking Jan 1. Hiked every day in January for a total 150 miles. PSA this week was “undetectable”.

BTW I made 8 short Utube videos on my journey: RP’s Prostate Cancer Journey.

Congratulations!!! Sounds like you fared well and your preparation was likely a big part of getting right back to your lifestyle!!! Best of luck going forward, and it’s likely not necessary to say but keep it up!!

Great response. Are you working on penile rehab?
