So I just saw my latest PSA which read .05. I know, I should be happy, but I’m not.. I have been through RP, and then radiation which ended on March 7 this year. My , PSA was .01 two months ago. I’m scared a year ago it keep going up by .12 every month until it reached .55 at which time radioman started five months later. Now it’s climbing again. Schedule to see oncologist on 29 May, nine more days. This is getting old.

I think you should continue switching to a conventional PSA test (lowest value 0.1). There is nothing you could possibly do with PSAs below that level, and it just causes anxiety.

There are still a lot of ADT drugs out there that could give you years of good quality life. Have you been genetically tested yet? That could sent your treatment in a different direction. Don't give up so soon.

What does your doctor think/ recommend?

Officially you are still non-detectable, so PSA tracking can be a downer.

I have one group that says my psa is .05 and another that says 0.0. Both pretty big hospitals. Take your pick. I think they are saying the same thing.

So what did your physician say?

I've been through RP and SRT + ADT. My PSA is creeping up to .078, but no worries yet. I will have to be much higher for me to take action.

To relieve your worry, non uPSA testing will be better. Good luck.
