Hey yall! I had a PSA of .9 and in one year it jumped to 7.9...did another test to make sure and it was 7.8 this time. Oncologist put me on 2 weeks of antibiotics and retested me a month later. They called and said my PSA is now 4.3 and they are pleased it dropped that much. They want me back in 3 months? What do you all think? I dont wanna worry for 3 more months.

Ask for a Prostate Health Index (PHI) next time. It's less affected by prostatitis. Prostatitis tends to return, so PSA may not be a great biomarker for you.
