A few days ago I was diagnosed with prostatitis. This has occurred approx. 6 months after my EBRT. Side effects of the prostatitis is like pissing glass. Doc has me on a 4 week dose of antibiotics.

Is it common to have this condition happen 6 months post of treatment of PCa?

Yes! Radiation damage is more common than many people believe and it will not be felt immediately after the radiation. The nature of radiation is that it takes time to do its thing, which also includes taking its time have a man experience the side effects. In my support groups, we like to say that radiation is the gift that keeps giving.
