I highly recommend Paul Steinberg's story of surviving and thriving 30 years with prostate cancer. Amazing man. He's a practicing therapist/MD and he gives a detailed and humorous account of taking charge of his treatments by getting the best information available--even if he had to reject the advice of doctors, some his own. It certainly has given me a renewed awareness of how active and insistent we must be when facing the medical establishment. More to post on this later.
