Anyone keep on doing tests even though they know for sure they're pregnant?

I found out I was pregnant last week ( am about 6/7 weeks). This will be my first child. Other than the normal syptoms of pregnancy, I feel great. However, even though I feel fine I feel the need to keep taking tests just to keep confirming my pregnancy. Did anyone else do this?

Yeah am doing well thanks and you ? I think it's because I only had my implant removed in January and have always for some reason thought I wouldn't find it so easy to conceive. I'm 34 too so thought I would encounter more problems than I have.

I did, do this "when i discovered i was pregnant" i cant explain but you always feel as if the 1st test is wrong or something. I think i took about 3 different tests within 1 month :-) Congratulations anyway Hold on to your hat as this is the early stages be prepared for up-coming mood swings & emotions :-)

xx

I know at the minute apart from feeling uncomfortable due to constipation and the odd feeling of nausea I feel pretty good. Very excited wish the first 3 months would hurry themselves up!!

I didn't believe my first two tests as they were £4 each... then a clear blue one and I thought... It appears that I am pregnant!

I hope everything goes well. Will you be wanting to know what you're having?

after literally thinking about it for 3 months and changing my mind daily but yes we are going too :)

I don't really want to know but the other half does. I think it's because he's far more practical than I am and wants to know what we can buy. I want the surprise though. Have you any preference?

I only found out I am pregnant last week & am only 5 weeks along now. I keep wanting to do more test just to make sure I definitely am still pregnant & that the baby hasn't just disappeared, or I have imagined it! I did do 3 tests to start with on the day I found out, the only thing stopping me now is the cost of the tests!

I did three tests originally then a clear blue digital that spelt it out to me!

i did 2 tests on the day my period was due one was positive one was negative both cheap tests, the next day i did a clear blue one (not digital) and it was very faint the result still didnt sink in my other half was so positive and he kept saying we're having a baby with a big cheesy grin, so i then went and bought a clear blue digital and there it was pregnant my partner read it for us.

when he went back to the Army i did 2 more cheap ones and 2 more clear blue digital ones as the news didnt seem to be sinking in then did a clear blue each week for the next 2 weeks to make sure the weeks were going up on the little window.

i stopped shortly after this as the clear blue ones are not cheap and as my partner said we clearly need to start saving :)

I like you conceived very quickly, i came off the pill on xmas day, last period was 28th Dec for 3 days and i did the test on 25th Jan
