It's my first pregnancy, I'm 7 weeks. Other than seeing my doctor at 5 weeks to confirm the pregnancy I've not seen anyone else. I have my booking appointment on the 13th of Feb.
I've literally got no symptoms at all, because it's my first pregnancy I keep panicking and thinking something bad has happened because I can't feel the baby. Sometimes my breasts are sore if I slept all night on my stomach but other than that I've not been sick, or even felt sick.
Is this normal? Think I just need a bit of reassurance ๐๐

Forgot to mention, I've had stomach cramps from finding out till about last week, and now they have gone too!
Hello congratulations! Stretching pains are normal in first pregnancies so don't worry. Maybe you are one of those super lucky people who doesn't feel sick or get any nasty symptoms. I had sickness with 3 of mine. Now on the 4th pregnancy and had non. I worried as some days I just didn't feel pregnant. It won't be all that long until your first scan. Hope it all goes well x
Because I've never been pregnant before I think I always just expected to have morning sickness etc... I feel bad because like you've said sometimes I just don't feel pregnant.
Don't want to worry too much about, as that can't be good for the baby. Think I'll relex once I've had a scan! Xx
Other things you often get in early pregnancy is weird dreams and strange cravings, heightened sense of smell but everyone is so different. A lot of my symptoms never used to kick in until around week 8-9. Getting the soreness isn't nice but that's a good sign that your hormones are getting stronger as they should be. Def try to relax a bit but then again I was the same with my first. You do worry more that's normal too x
My sense of smell is crazy at the minute, I can't stand the smell of anything cheesy. Everyone in the house has been banned from bringing any thing cheese related it haha! But that's it.
I'm hoping I'll start to feel more pregnant later down the line, (I'm sure I'll regret saying that). I'm only 7 weeks, 8 on Monday so maybe it will start soon. Glad I'm not the only one who worries about everything xx
I could have written that! I was 7 weeks yesterday and feel exactly the same. I have slightly sore and enlarged breasts but no sickness or nausea or other symptoms. It's my first pregnancy too and I am freaked out that something is wrong. I also have my booking appointment on the 13th. Fingers crossed we are both just lucky and everything is fine.
With my first pregnancy I didn't have any symptoms at all, my only sign was I went off alcohol and by then I was already nearly 7 weeks. I'm currently nearly 7 weeks with my second and since about 3 weeks I've had strong sense of smell, tiredness, weird dreams, bad skin, headaches (they've gone now) back aches, mild cramps, nausea, sickness, snotty nose you name it I've had it with this one... try not to worry as long as theres no bleeding or pain... you'll know the difference...symptoms generally take longer to show on your first. Make the most of it before they kick it lol as always thought if your really that concerned go see your GP
First of all - congratulations!! We found out we were pregnant at 8 weeks - day after I'd completed Tough Mudder. i'd had extremely sore boobs - poor OH every time we had sex, I'd have a go at him for touching them as they were so sore.
I felt rough and exhausted but was only sick once - and I think that was more to do with having cereal then drinking a large class of water.
I'm now 28 weeks and going for growth appointment today, I can remember at my booking appointment feeling disappointed as they didn't perform any more tests and I felt that I was cheating the system and it was all pretend - even when I went for my scan at 14 weeks, I thought there'd be nothing there.
I know its easier said than done, but try and relax and think of you and baby. It's a nerve wracking journey, but so rewarding. Always ask questions on here as people are so supportive. Any concerns please talk to midwife - they won't mind. I've popped to hospital and midwife and a few extra times as worried, but they were lovely and reassured and heard heartbeat.
Congratulations I am 16 weeks +1 day with my first pregnancy.
I used to worry myself sick when I had no symptoms so I then did a pregnancy test once a week just to keep my mind calm . Sounds crazy but it worked for me.
Enjoy the fact you have no awful symptoms as when I hit 7 weeks I was so ill from then and still am rather sick now some days!
Take care and good luck at the scan! It's the most amazing thing ever x
Congratulations! I'm 22 weeks +5 and aside from dark nipples and a big belly I haven't had any symptoms. I still really can't feel the baby moving which apparently is because my placenta is at the front.
I'm 10 weeks and have a similar story. Try to relax and not worry. I'm counting down the days til my 12 week scan. Feeling nervous but crossing all fingers and toes.
The longest weeks in my life were from day I find out I am pregnant till my 12 week scan (had to wait even longer as was booked only for when I was already 13weeks+5 days!!!) I was suffering with nausea and sore boobs but still could not believe I am pregnant. Then at the scan I saw my baby ๐ And it started to feel real! Then after that again - i have a baby but was nauseous and therefore have not put any weight till week 16- again lots of wondering... glad that I started to feel flutters at week 16 and since it's been so soothing to know that baby is there as there are kicks and rolling.
Be patient! And enjoy this time! (my nausea was sooooo bad- really: the worst weeks of my life- so glad that not all women get it as bad as it's just awful!)x
You sound just like me with all my previous pregnancies! I never get any / many symptoms and spend the whole pregnancy worrying because every other pregnant person is feeling nauseous or having cravings!๐
This is my fourth pregnancy and I'm just a little behind you - I'm either 5w5d or 4w4d - irregular periods so won't get date until scan next week. The only symptoms I've had are sensitive, swollen breasts (plus a fibrocystic lump on one that had me rushed for an urgent mammogram, suspecting cancer! ๐ฑ FX it's just what they diagnosed though ๐)...and needing to pee more frequently. Some days I have mild cramps and my uterus feels heavy, other days these symptoms are completely absent!
So try not to worry, though I know that's hard to do...I've not gotten excited yet as it's too early (I never do until 12 wks) but as this will be our last baby I'm determined to shake off my anxieties and enjoy it for as long as it lasts...FX we'll both have successful pregnancies but, if the worst should happen, at least we'll have experienced the joy and elation of being pregnant ๐ฌโบ๏ธ
