My Sister uses Fairy powder & Fairy fabric softener.

You can also buy Fairy Gel. Which my mum buys for when she washes baby,s bits and bobs x

It doesn't really matter so long as its non-bio (that doesn't contain enzymes which I think makes it gentler on babies skin).

Fairy powder, softener and all the other gels and tabs they offer are great and smell nice but supermarket non-bio powder and softener is fine too. It's a good idea to wash your clothes in non-bio too so it's gentler on baby, for the first couple of weeks anyway.

Good luck - not long now!

I love sainsbury non bio and their fabric conditioner is lovely the gentle one, I only buy Ariel or fairy when it's on special offer, also I find liquid gentler than powder of u use powder is recommend an extra rinse at the end of it cycle just for the first few washes and then see how their skin is, my children suffer from eczema so I'm over cautious xx

I used fairy gel for the first 6 months with my first baby and then moves to tesco non-bio. As long as its non bio it should be fine so it's more a case of preference for smell and your budget!

Has anyone used an Eco-Egg - they sound great for washing children's clothes and would love to get one?
