washing baby clothes
I used to wash separately as I had enough clothes to do that but I eventually bought some colour catchers which are little sheets that catches the colour allowing you to mix xx
I was just reading about them to see how good they are.... think I might give them a try thanks xx
I never had a problem and thought much better than risking colours running xx
I used them colour catchea they are good none of the coloura bled on to the whites so im going to keep using them thank you xx
I separate whites and colours and then put them in a wash with our clothes of the same colour with non bio, it’s not like adult clothes get particularly dirty so I decided this was the best way to wash an entire load without wasting water and energy by separating further. I guess if I had more than 1 kid I’d probably sort by adults and children but it’s just not worth it for 1 6 month old 😊 x
I used to wash all my baby whites together separately just incase. But if anything is particularly stained with poo or food once baby is weaned those items would be soaked first and washed separate from the non stained clothes as found things like banana stain really bad. Now my daughter is two and I mix all of her clothes and find they all come out fine but is on only a 40 wash when she was a baby was on a baby wash which is a 90 or a 60 so colours may run as higher temp.
I separate ive experienced bibs with some colour on bleeding on to white baby grows so wont make that mistake again lol x
