dental and prescription exemption

how long from when you send the form away do u receive your dental and prescription exemption card?? I sent mine over a week ago is it normal it takes this long!

About 10 days for me! Amazing what a difference it makes living in different parts of the country. My midwife did tell me that they could chase it up for me if it didn't arrive within a week or 2 - perhaps yours will be able to help you x

I am not desperate for it, just don't wana book a dentist appointment and not hav it, I can wait 2 weeks

Mine was quick, filled in form at my 8 wk booking and am sure if landed a week later. Not had to use it yet, but do want to go see a dentist but all the time I take off is for the bubs. X

Mine took just over 2 weeks. I needed to see the dentist before I got my card and they were fine, they just asked me to bring it in once I got to to confirm, so I didn't pay for my dental treatment. Maybe call your dentist to see if they'll do the same.

hopefully it will arrive shortly then. and duppy when your pregnant and up to ur baby is 1yr old you get free prescriptions and free dental care, you should of got ur form either and ur booking appointment or 1st scan (if u have had these) and then u fill it in and send it away so u get a little card that u can carry with u so when needed u don't have to pay.

I went to the dentist without it and never had to pay, I just showed it when it arrived.

Midwife said my pregnancy notes should help inbetween time that you're waiting, after all they're an accurate medical document, I'm looking forward to finally getting my arse to the dentist for a nice scale & polish!
