Sizing scan

28weeks n had sizing scan today, said weight was good but she is small so booked me in for another 1 in 2 weeks, am worried now, anyone had this problem? They did say she got just be a small baby

I'm 38 weeks, not had this problem but been for glucose test due to big baby girl. Turned out to be nothing, as i've heard lots of people say during my pregnancy, babies are just like all the rest of us - different shapes and sizes

I'm sure baby is fine, its quite common to be sent for growth scans. They will most likely be checking how much she has grown in the 2 weeks and then you can put your mind at rest xx

Hi there huni, I'm going through the same thing. I'm 32 weeks and I have to keep having growth scans every 2 weeks. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes which is the reason for extra scans, but my baby is measuring smaller than he should be. I've had 2 extra scans and my next one is next Tuesday. He was 2lb 6 oz on the first one and grew to 3lb on the next one. Even though he's a little bit smaller the hospital are still saying I have to be induced at approx 38 weeks. My midwife has reassured me not to worry. I just hope my baby dosnt suddenly put loads of weight on quickly because I don't think that would be healthy for him. I was very worried as I'm sure you are but he's grown and looks a picture of health in there. I'm sure it will be the same for your little one. Try not to worry and enjoy your extra scans!!. I'm 28 wks her weight is 2.4, which they said is ok weight but its her size that is small. I'm having a natural birth well nt said anything else yet, they said keepin eye on her n Magdeburg she could just b a small baby so I'm prayin that's all is as everything else looks ok.
