If I was you I would defiantly speak to midwife / doc / hospital ! If you have defiantly had a show at this stage, it may well be its not uncommon and you could possibly go full term but saying that, the plug protects the baby from infection and makes that barrier so you could be putting your baba at risk.

My friend had her show about a month b4 due date, this apparently is okay, she had the baby 2 weeks later - 2 weeks early!

My waters partly went a week and 2 days b4 my son was born, I had phoned the hospital at the time and they said I would be fine if my contractions started to go if if not don't . A week later when I told my midwife she was unhappy with how I had been delt with, my waters started leaking again a week after the 1st time and my contractions started so went hospital, my waters were disscoloured - he had pooed inside, ended up distressed, and I ended up with emergency section to get him out safe, he had an infection when he was born and we had to stay in hospital 5 days while he had antibiotics !!! Not nice, they wanted to do a lumber puncher on him but I wouldn't let them, I don't know if he got an infection from my waters opening or from pooing but i wish neither had happened.

It's always better to ask a professionals if in doubt,

I had my show around the same time as you with my second daughter and i made it to 38 weeks. Mine came in bits at a time and on the day my waters broke (the same day i had her) the rest of the show came away in a big part..

As mine came very gradually & not a lot my midwife told me there was nothing to worry about, but its always best to ask your own midwife for reassurance.
