Only Six Weeks Pregnant but eating too much to ease my sickness??
I had exactly the same - I was ravenous for about the first 13-14 weeks and I gained a lot of weight. I am now 23 weeks and plateaued plus I am just not as hungry or craving everything in sight. I also felt nauseous but was actually only physically sick on one occasion. I get many of the weekly email updates and this week it said I may get hungrier but I think that phase was ages ago and as I keep being told - every pregnancy is different.
I just tried to make as many healthy choices as I could during this phase. My body now is telling me what it wants in the form of plenty of vegetables and lean meat luckily. Good luck and just enjoy! xxx
hey congrats im now 8 weeks and a few days, im haveing cravings galoreeeee. . . spicy stuff :/ . . . . . . they say u feel hungry when your thirsty too, try swapping some foods for pasta, rice,a jacket patato. . . .or even a pint glass of water hope this helps xx
You sound exactly the same as me. I'm 6 weeks too, I feel sick all day long but have only actually been sick once. I have been eating loads to try and feel better but I never seem to get full either. I've decided to try not to worry too much about it, from what I've read this should pass after 12-14 weeks. Until then I'm going to try and make the healthiest choices possible to try and limit any weight gain that I'll have during this period. xx
Thanks guys.it's good to know i'm not the only one I'll try to make healthy choices until it pass as there is no cure to heal this i hope you all a happy and healthy pregnancy xxx
I stuffed myself stupid and put on more weight in the first 12 weeks than between then and now (I'm 27 weeks now!). Just couldn't stop feeling hungry. I'm quite sure that I've put on way more than the 'recommended amount', and nipperette still has most of her growing to do. So what?! I'll worry about that when I've got my body back!!
Congratulations - and don't worry about weight gain, really.
