hello! My baby got tanned after phototherapy of 48hrs for curing jaundice. Has anyone experienced this before? How long does it take for the tanning to go away?

I think this is quite normal with the treatment for Jaundice and the colour fades similar to the way any tan will fade over time, hope your little one is doing well now.

this happened with my son, but alongside the tan from the phototherapy the skin will still have the tint from jaundice. For us it took 5-6 weeks to fade & go completely. Hope your little one is okay x
