dear people, who was in the situ and how you you dealt with it?
I had my 12 weeks scan for a PGTA tested embryo and surprisingly it arrived with 1:88 high risk downs. The genetic and my doctor claim it only relates to my age 43, they referred me to NIPT, but don’t want to do an invasive test and say it’s not justified as all parameters are normal. But the news was shocking to say the least.

I know how stressful it can be, but don’t overthink it.
I’m 45 and had my screen tests 3 weeks ago. They came back high for Downs, which of course makes you panic. Our midwife warned us because of my age (45) that this would happen and explained all our options.
We had NIPT shortly after and it felt like the longest wait ever.
I found midwives and nurses to generally be very good and empathetic. Talk to them and make sure you keep your mind busy during the waiting period.
