I experienced some heavy bleeding last night which I ended up on A&E. I spoke to a midwife at EPU today expecting to go in for scan today check everything is ok, however because I have my 12 week scan Monday I've been told to rest & relax until then. Anyone been in this situation? First pregnancy and feeling worried

I had this when pregnant and was terrified. Turned out to be a burst blood vessel and my baby is now 10months old!
I'd still go back and request a early scan (it may be a internal one) because Monday will probably feel like years away and you want to put your mind at ease.
Maybe ring the NHS direct number and they can help you out and get you seen?
But defiantly drink lots of water have a something to eat and try to relax. Hope all goes well xx
Unfortunately it depends on the unit, some units won't have scans for several days available, I was in this position with last baby, and even though you worry about it there's not much they or you can do about it.
I also had bleeding throughout my first trimester, my little one was born yesterday a health 8lb 4oz! I would also advise to keep in contact with EPAU, they can do early scans sometimes there can be a wait which is always the worst bit! Hopefully they can fit you in, we had an early scan at 10 weeks, this was done internally. Good luck with everything hope all goes well. x
