is this a miscarriage??

So I was bleeding really heavily for a day and a little less heavy on the second (first day I filled a whole pad, but the picture was taken early morning of the second day before i bled more) but all the blood was very very dark brown, almost black. The third and fourth day I've just got some very very light bleeding that's light brown. This isn't around the same time my period would've come. I'm about 6 weeks, and my stomach did hurt like a bad stomach ache and light cramping while I was bleeding but not too bad. Is this a miscarriage?

The colour would indicate old blood. A miscarriage is likely to be bright red fresh blood. The only way to know for sure is to see a doctor or go to the EPU.

I had something similar last month. My period which is always 28 days was late for one week. I just had light pink discharge plus a couple of times brown spotting. On day 35 which was end of week 5 I had a bad camp for about 20 minutes or so. 3-4 hours later I started bleeding dark brown which turned into brighter red. I went to A&E as it was weekend and had miscarriage before but they did a urine test and said it was my period that was late.

Sadly I'm afraid it does look like you have miscarried, it's a awful thing to happen with no explanation but sadly it does happen, keep an eye on your bleeding if you have any clots that are bigger then a golf ball then please ring the hospital as sometimes you may need help to pass the rest of the clots
