I'm so sorry that you're having this, sadly no one on here can diagnose if you've had a miscarriage. You'll need to speak to the early pregnancy unit and see if they'll scan you to confirm what's going on. I hope they are able to help. Best wishes xx

Hard to say my mc were all further on and the clots were massive like palm size and severe cramping but my chemical pregnancies were just like normal periods no pain or clots. Get some cheap pregnancy tests and test after a couple of days I’d say if it’s negative then yes unfortunately you’ve mc but if still positive at 6w ask for a scan at epu tell them you’ve had bleeding.

I’m so sorry you are having to go through this and not know. As another poster has said we can not diagnose a miscarriage but i understand completely how you feel and the hope reaching out will give answers.

As soon as you are over 6 weeks you can contact the early pregnancy unit who will be able to assess you (I accessed mine via a&e). If you are close to 6 weeks could you get your dates wrong so you are at 6 weeks?(I had to do this by three days).

I bleed a lot, however, the next day the bleeding had stopped (and become brown...leftover from the bleed). I was examined and they said the cervix was closed and bleed was likely an undeveloped sac (there was a fancy word for this that I can’t remember). Currently 12 weeks and haven’t bleed since.

If you can’t get to EPAU test yourself until at 6 weeks then go

Thinking of you xx

Hey love, really sorry to hear about you bleeding.... But don't give up hope. Things can work out. I called 111 during the weekend when this happened to me for three days...and my clots were much bigger. The doctor was great in keeping me calm and giving me perspective until you can get a scan.... Many people have experienced this and their pregnancies have been fine... I wish you luck xx

I am so sorry Doddy that you are going through this. I know exactly how you are feeling. On my day of the period, I had clot like your pic. I did not know I was pregnant. I was having on and off spotting. When I went to Dr, she told me about my pregnancy. I was diagnosed with Subchorionic Haematoma. Dr put me on progesterone and told me that I will have more spotting in order to clear out the hematoma. I had on and off spotting (different color range from red to black-brown) though out the first trimester. I was worried all the time, especially because of my miscarriage and blighted ovum history. In fact, I was hospitalized during my 2nd trimester because of bleeding. But with all of your blessings, now I have a perfect baby girl now. I shared my story to tell you that bleeding always does not mean MC. The only person who can tell you what actually is going on with you is your doc. Sending lots of good vibes. Take care!
