Can someone explain the the meaning of split HbA2 Delta chain variant Sum of HbA2+HbA2

Am pregnant and just found out am As and he is AS

Oh God why do I have to go through this ,I have done alot of reading on SS and don't want my child to suffer and I don't want to loose my pregnancy too am soo confused
