im reading that normally fever and vomiting are not related to teething. I am seeking more answers. I have 4 kids and they all have experienced a light fever, vomiting and fussiness when teething.

I think if you're reading about it, there's lots of studies that show teething and the other symptoms are not linked. I've got two children who have never had a fever or vomited when they've been teething, so you can't always use your own experiences to explain something.

It could be correlation rather than causation, that you've experienced it that way with your children.

Perhaps they've been fussy because they have a tooth coming through and also had a virus at the same time. When my child started pre school she had about a hundred different bugs. So chances are they might have had a tooth come through at the same time.

Not what you're looking for?
