I just buy any teethers and put them in fridge so the nice and cold I dont think it really matters what ones you get and give calpol if needs it or a bit of bonjela xx

Sophie Le giraffe is great if you don’t have one yet. Really helped my little girl when she started teething at 4 months. I made a breast milk popsicle also for freezer and gave her to during day to help. At night I just did calpol if it was bad and it seemed to get her through, I also brought teething powder which is organic as read bad things about the gels. Can’t say they were brilliant but you just rub it on the gums. Lots of cuddles and patience as well! Xxx

Have you tried an Amber necklace......i haven't got children of my own yet (😉) but all my family used it for their children and say they really help..........

In terms of medicine, the only thing that stopped my baby waking hourly was Nelson's teething powder. I finally got some sleep after a long few weeks. It's on my essentials list for my next baby!

I was advised in the pharmacy to try a infant toothbrush with a small amount of bonjela or infant anbesol. If you give it to your little one they bite on it where its hurting so the gel will go on the sore area. I found applying it with a clean finger my boy kicked it off 😂

Hope this helps any babies teething and parents too!

I’ve always used the teething powders you can buy, and calpol! Works wondered

I found ANBESOL to be better than any other teething gel. You can actually try yourself to feel the effect it’s having on the babies’ gums.

Nurseries won’t accept it to give it to the baby themselves though. My nursery only accept Dentinox. Which is still good. But anbesol way better. The liquid version is alcohol based for adults. Works very very well too.

Unless she is crying a lot and/or feverish, medicine is unnecessary. Cold/frozen teething toys should be great. Munchkin brand had a lot of great ones to choose from

Ibuprofen is good for teething as it helps with the swelling and anbesol liquid on the gums helps numb them before feeding. I didn't use anything else
