More than normal amnion

Hello! A question to moms out there, this is my first pregnancy, 23 weeks far, and I've had amniotic leakage, woke up to find myself wet. Made an ultrasound to find extra amniotic fluid buildup. Is there any concerns behind that finding or is it normal??

Speak to your GP, or midwife

Hey there, if you're leaking amniotic fluid you need to call your midwife to be assessed.

extra fluid is called Polyhydramnios, you will need to be monitored closely, in UK they will offer you extra scans to check baby growth. They will also need to check for diabetes as it can be a main cause for extra fluid. Are you in the UK?
