Nausea in first trimester- is normal to go from everyday to nothing?

I’m 6+3 and have been feeling nausea for about a week now, everyday esp in the morning. But today I feel fine no sickness and now I’m panicked.

Is it normal for nausea to just stop? Is that a thing for it to be there some days and not others or is this a bad sign?

I’m panicked and overthinking about every little thing, this is my first pregnancy after a m/c last year and I’m driving myself crazy.

any advice appreciated x

Oh it’s such a worry isn’t it 😞 but it’s definitely a thing where symptoms can come and go. Your pregnancy symptoms (or lack of) don’t really indicate much, but you could always book an early private scan to help put your mind at rest if you don’t feel you can wait for the 12 week mark xx

Absolutely! My sore boobs and nausea came and went in the first few weeks. By about 8 weeks I was nauseous and 6 every day without fail so enjoy the good days whilst you can haha! I now have twin boys! It’s hard not to worry when you’ve had bad experiences and it means a much, totally understand. Just try and enjoy the moments you can x

I completely understand how you feel, I felt the same panic in my pregnancy and it’s so hard to control! My nausea went on and off right up until week 20 when it disappeared completely. I had weeks when it was terrible every day then would have one random day where I felt totally normal and then I would panic. I think it’s totally normal for it to change day to day. The annoying thing about pregnancy symptoms is that almost every symptom I googled was considered “normal” which wound me right up as I thought HOW can everything I Google be “normal for some”, so frustrating. I suppose the only comfort I could take from my constant panic was that basically all women feel the same. Pregnancy is such a rollercoaster! My advice is try to enjoy your sicky free day today as it’s more than likely completely harmless. Wishing you all the luck in your pregnancy x x
