Is this normal in 1st trimester?

I don't sleep very well. My other symptoms like sore breasts, nausea, and excessive urination don't keep me up. I just can't sleep. When I do, it's not for very long. The longest I've slept since finding out I'm pregnant was 5 hours. I sleep every day but it's in small fractions. I pretty much thrive on naps. What I'm wondering is if this is commonplace in the first trimester? Thanks :)

Yes chick it is normal, I was exactly the same in my first trimester. Just waiting for your body to adapt to a new situation. It will get better with time... if you do have sickness get eating ginger this helps a lot. And if it’s really bad as your gp for sickness tablets. And congratulations! Xx

I think its normal, I really struggled to sleep properly in the first trimester, I couldn't even nap properly and I'm normallyan expert napper. The first trimester can be really hard but it gets much easier in the second, and soon you wont be able to get enough sleep.

It’s completely normal! I was like this in my 1st trimester until about 17 wks and then my sleeping was really good now I’m 36 wks I’m lucky to get about 3/4 hrs a night so napping during the day is th only option I have xx

This is normal. I struggled sleeping until 12 weeks but most of that was due to constant sickness and headaches.

Having naps will defo help during the day. But maybe try and cut them out for a couple of days to see if this helps you sleep!

Congratulations!

Since I found out I've been waking up between 3am and 5am every morning. Doesn't matter when I went to bed either still wide awake. I suppose we should get used to lack of sleep 🤣🤔
