Ondansetron in first trimester ??
Hi, I suffered from hyperemesis my entire pregnancy and took andansetron from 8 weeks as none of the o ty hers meds worked. I had a healthy baby and no issues, he's now a healthy 2 year old! Don't worry, speak to your gp and they'll reassure you. All the best 😊
I took ondansetron pretty much the whole pregnancy and have a healthy 6 week old baby.
Like you I worried about the effects it would have on baby but I could not have got though the pregnancy without it.
All the best x
I was on a drip in hospital and diagnosed with HG at the weekend. Iv struggled doing anything since returning home. Like you Iv done a lot of research and seams Odansetron is most successful for a lot of women so I’m going to ask for it to. There is a long video about the drug on the Pregnancy Sickness Support group website if you want an update on risks about it but Iv interpreted it as minimal and benefits far outweighing the alleged tiny risks xx
