Low hard cervix at 5 weeks 2 days

Im 5 weeks 2 days today and cervix feels low and hard. Last week it was high and soft, im quite worried.

Anyone have this and go on to have a safe prgenancy?

Is that something your doctor/midwife has diagnosed you with? I have never heard of a cervix check as an indicator of anything in pregnancy. I couldn't tell you what my cervix was like during any of my pregnancies, I wouldn't even know how to check. Perhaps if you're worried speak to your midwife or doctor. Good luck with it

Yes, mine was the same and I read into it a lot as I had IVF. But my pregnancy was fine and my son is 3 months old now. Best of luck with your pregnancy. x

Hi Summertime, Mine barely changed at all during pregnancy. Like you I was checking it as a sign but the drugs do affect it so it’s not like a natural pregnancy.

Thank you for sharing! After 5 years of infertility its so hard not to worry. Really trying ny best to rewire my thinking and enjoy each day xxx
