Hello everyone,I'm currently only 6 weeks pregnant so basically only found out two weeks ago.
Right now, I have no real symptoms.
When I was pregnant with my first, I had thee worst morning sickness. I remember writing a post about it on here a few years back. It was debilitating, to the point I would lie on the sofa, ironically, in the fetal position and cry, feeling proper sorry for myself.
At the time, everyone on here reassured my that morning sickness is a positive sign of hormones getting to work and growing the egg, ready for a healthy pregnancy. I got through it and around week 11, they subsided.
Ok, fast forward to now. As I said, 6 weeks in and my symptoms? None really there. OK, I have a bit of a craving for bagels and butter but nowt else really. Certainly no morning sickness and not feeling the levels of tired I once felt the first time round. I'm really concerned. Am I still pregnant? I'm scared to take another pregnancy test in case the first one was a false positive. I wee a lot more now I suppose, and I had a hemorrhoid earlier in the week, so that's positive, if you know what I mean. Hemorrhoids themselves aren't positive but I'm desperate for signs and symptoms.
Please, I'm looking for similar experiences. Has anyone had a light to no symptom first trimester? Especially after having an awful first trimester with a previous pregnancy? Is no symptoms ok, or should I be concerned?

Hey, congrats on your pregnancy I hope it goes well for you. I am currently pregnant and this is my second time round. My first is a boy and I had near enough no symptoms. Aside from the initial cramping and bloating before the pregnancy test (post conception). I had no morning sickness, no nausea nothing.
I had abit of sore breasts and that would come and go. I went on the rest of the pregnancy with no symptoms and no cravings.
This time round I'm having a girl and I was very tired from the beginning but turned out I had a uti. But slowly I developed nausea and some morning sickness. Which stopped at 16 weeks.
I don't think you should be worried because all our bodies are different and people experience things more than others. If you want to put your mind at ease then I say take another test. That way if its still positive then you know you don't need to worry. I'm sure on nhs website it says you should be concerned if you had symptoms and they suddenly disappear. In your case you haven't developed any yet.
Try not to worry yourself too much. I know until you feel baby kick or go for ultrasound it's so hard to not worry if the baby is ok etc. Best of luck x
Aww congratulations on your pregnancy, you're over halfway! If I remember rightly, we had our first around the same time.
It's interesting to know that you had no real symptoms with your first. Clearly its normal not to have any. But I think I will take another test tomorrow just to be on the safe side.
Tbh next week could be a different story for all I know and I could be hugging the toilet again this time round.
Thankyou. Yes I spent the majority of the first trimester wondering if I was really pregnant and if the baby is ok.
I was going to say enjoy it while it lasts the symptoms may hit you soon and you'll be wishing they didn't show up. I've heard a few people who had boys having very less or no symptoms so could be your having a boy this time. Take the test when you want. Do keep me updated x
Congratulations on your pregnancy, my pregnancies both had zero symptoms, apart from missing my period and my husbands cooking smelling disgusting!! I was ever sick and had no real nausea, I went off coffee and meat a little, but felt nothing like the sickness I've seen some of my friends go through.
Good luck with it, wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy x
I had the same and asked the nurse about it. I wouldn’t really call mine symptoms.. they were headaches, sore breasts, a bit more of an appetite and tiredness.
