Pregnant and breastfeeding advice

My daughter is 12 months old and I've just found out I am almost 5 weeks pregnant. I wasn't trying yet as daughter still breastfeeds all the time especially at night and doesn't cope well without it. Does anyone have any experience on breastfeeding while pregnant. I wanted to wait till she had night weaned to have another and now I'm worried about my milk drying up.

I breastfed all the way through my 2md pregnancy and I now still feed both. There was less milk from about 7 months I think but my eldest didn't seem to mind. I think it can be different for different children some wean themselves when it changes to colostrum ready for the new baby, some wean themselves when the milk comes in again for the new baby. It is completely possible to keep feeding and lots of people do, I would add that sometimes you really dont want to. It can be more painful to feed due to sensitive nipples and hard to find a comfortable position. I decided I wanted to keep going but there were days that I had to dig deep to carry on. Now I am glad I did as my eldest had to go through enough change with getting a sibling.
