Just under 6 weeks, spotting, pink discharge and pain

After all of the lovely messages I received about me finding out I was pregnant. I’ve got an appointment tomorrow because I’m bleeding and have pain. I am having pinkish discharge and aching like period pain. Don’t want to be negative but it doesn’t look good does it. Can’t believe it, I honestly thought it could be todo with that I have thrush, but guess not. Just hoping for a miracle but it’s difficult to stay positive now 😭🤞

Hi .. I had pink and brown spotting from around 5 weeks and my clinic told me that 8 out of 10 patients have bleeding in early pregnancy. I also had period like pain although nothing too sharp. Had a scan and baby was ok. Good luck tomorrow

Thank you for your message. I was seen and I was told I’m super early but they could see some activity. They suggested I could be around 5 and half weeks when I had the scan at EPU so now about 6 and half weeks. Just unexplainable bleeding they said and they didn’t say much for the cramping type pains. Just don’t feel anything as I don’t have the typical symptoms but I’m trying not to worry xx

Good luck at your appointment. I've had 3 miscarriages and that is how they all started. However, I also had this when I was pregnant with my second son. I was convinced I had lost him. Bleeding is really common and can be unexplained. I hope everything goes well for you!

Thank you for your message and I’m so sorry to hear what you went through. At the time of being seen they reckon I was around 5 and half weeks but they saw a little flutter, as for the bleeding,Unexplainable and they didn’t say much about my cramping. But fingers crossed onwards and upwards from here. I think I just worry now too because I haven’t experienced any symptoms other than sore boobs. But I’m staying positive. Thank you so much for your message! they said I was super early, around 5 and a half weeks but they saw some activity. Unexplainable bleeding they said and they didn’t say much about my cramps. Just staying positive, I think I’m worried because I have no symptoms either and I’m probably around 6 and half weeks nearly 7 now and I just have sore boobs. Maybe that’s all I’ll get for now though so who knows! Thank you for the love! Xx

Really glad you and baby are ok and thank you so much for taking the time to message. I did not find out about my pregnancy until 12 weeks sometimes symptoms can be subtle. I did not have morning sickness I had evening nausea. I soon realised pregnancy is a miracle and beautiful journey that follows its own magical path and not everything is how I thought based on what I saw or heard. Wishing you and baby health and happiness throughout pregnancy and beyond. We are all here that is the beautiful thing about this forum everyone cares xxx

Ahhh amazing! And thank you so much, everything was ok I was super early around 5 and half weeks. Bleeding was just unexplainable, not sure about the cramps either. But I’m staying positive. Thank you again xx

I had a bleeding episode too. Mine was dark brownish/cranberry color. All was well, my son is now 1 years old. Hormones can cause cervix sensitivity.. which can cause bleeding too.

Thank you so much for your message. My visit at the EPU went great. They said last week they think I’m around 5 and a half weeks, the bleeding was unexplainable and didn’t say much about my cramps. I’m just curious as to why I have no symptoms other than sore boobs 🤣. Thank you again xx

I had period type aches all through my first trimester they are quite normal as long as they are mildly uncomfortable and not painful. You really can't tell the first trimester is fought with worry and unknowns. I have everything crossed for you x

Yes this first trimester is living in the unknown and it’s not great! my appointment went great they said I was super early around 5 and a half weeks so very minimal activity they saw. The bleeding was unexplainable and not much was said about the cramping. Just doesn’t feel real still yet probably because I have literally no symptoms still other than sore boobs.
