Pregnant with twins

So, after an early scan.. I’ve discovered I’m pregnant with non-identical twins.

I am in shock, as I currently have a 11 month old be 1 on Boxing Day. I don’t know how to digest 3 under 2!!

Anyone else gone through this & can give me some positivity. We did try for baby, but it’s been such a shock to discover there’s 2 babas!

Not much advice here but just wanted to say congratulations, I'm nearly 35 weeks with non identical twins, I found out at like 5/6 weeks due to having lots of pains and it really was a shock as I didn't think it was possible for me to fall pregnant with 1 never mind 2, I don't have any other children though but there's loads of support out there. If in UK contact twins trust or even join as lots of support etc on it, there's a Facebook page called twins support UK (something like that I'm sure) they will be lots of people in same position that can give advice

Aww, that’s how I found out I went to a&e with terrible pains down the one side.. they were doing a scan & asked if ive been feeling sick much and I was like yeah, but that’s normal for me in pregnancy.. they then turned the screen & showed me 2 beating hearts. I was taken back, excited nervous the full works & was on my bloody own as partner was home with the baby. How has your pregnancy been?

We are going for a private scan this afternoon, for partner to see and for it to feel more real for him!

It does give you a mega shock, I remember the lady doing my scan told me there was two sacs, I stupidly asked what that meant as it just never hit me there and then and some days I still wake up and think omg there's two in there haha. Not too bad, from about 7/8 weeks I was feeling mega sick all the time, went off all food I loved before, wasn't until about week 16/17 I got a bit better and managed to eat what I loved, still do feel sick when hungry if don't feed these babies quick enough but haven't been sick in about 2 months. The pains are bad, getting worse now, babies have been great and growing extremely well. Last scan on Monday (34+3) they were estimated 6lbs 2oz for t1 and 5lbs 9oz for t2, they seem to be measuring ahead, measured on the screen t1 was at over 35 weeks. Oh lovely that will be nice for you both. Enjoy that time together to see your little peas!
