Not feeling pregnant
Your emotions being all over the place could be a symptom 😁 I didn't feel any different in early pregnanancy and even now, at 23 weeks, I still feel normal apart from a bump and feeling movements! I was lucky not to get any major symptoms but looking back I did have subtle symptoms, I just didn't realise it at the time. It's normal to feel anxious when you feel so normal but, as you say, it's very early yet. Massive congratulations by the way, good luck at your appt. Xx
Thank you so much x congratulations to you also xx
Thank you. We were trying for 3 years and had to have a assistance so I do understand your anxiety. I was constantly worried something was not right but I know lots of women who didn't get any symptoms until around 7/8 weeks. If you can, try to make the most of feeling like yourself. Xx
You have helped put my mind at ease a bit. We have been trying for around 7 years. We both have been to the hospital for all the checks and were told we were both fine and we should be able to conceive. That was the begining of this year. I took the pregnancy test just on the odd chance as i was going for a night out. Still cant believe we finally got that positive pregnancy test (well three all in lol) xx
7 years is a long time, no wonder you're worried. We were 'unexplained' too which makes it so frustrating, but we were referred for IVF in the end especially as we were already in our mid-thirties and didn't want to hang around any longer. You could always go for a private scan at 7/8 weeks to put your mind at rest. Xx
I agree with JoJo I barely had symptoms and what I did have was extreme hunger from about 8/9 weeks, needing the loo a lot from about 8 weeks and a bit tired but not an awful lot. I went through my whole pregnancy not feeling pregnant at all.
This was our second IVF, our first was a miscarriage, and it’s hard not to question the lack of symptoms but you will be amazed at how many people don’t have symptoms.
All I would say is enjoy the thought of being pregnant. It’s an amazing feeling xx
Thank you so much for taking the time to help reasure me xx
Just to add to what others have said, at 4 weeks I didn't feel pregnant either, even though we were actively trying (and had been for around a year). I'm currently one day overdue, so it wasn't a cause for concern in my case.
Huge congratulations - I hope everything goes well!
Around 6 weeks things should start happening, im early to and thought the same thing. Just try and relax a lil im so egar to have my first too but all will done in due time. Also Congratulations to u both
