CVS test

Hi, I had my 12 week scan on Friday and was told I have a high risk of chromosome abnormalities or heart problems in the baby. I’m booked in for a CVS test tomorrow. Has anyone on here had one before? What should I expect? I’m feeling really anxious about it all.

Hi I was in this boat last week, my results were 1 in 144 chance of a syndrome, which is in the high zone. I asked for the NIPT instead of CVS because I would have been too anxious. I'm guessing they talked about NIPT with you? My results from NIPT came back 5 days later, all low risk. Good luck
