Cramps are very normal in the first few weeks, if you have severe cramps, bleeding or shoulder pain or might be getting checked out, but period type pain is quite common.

Hi lovely, firstly congrats on your BFP! I did have some cramping the early stages along with brown blood which freaked me out but everything was fine.
I agree with Seb9 that the things my midwife said to look out for was a sore shoulder at the tips and a pain in my bum.
If no one has got back about the strong cramps I definitely would chase as it’s just peace of mind.
As for the pain when you cough I had this. I have endo and cysts on my ovaries so I put it down to this at first but I have had the same thing at different stages of the pregnancy and was told this is the ligaments stretching to accommodate baby. It’s painful when I sneeze, cough or turn over sometimes in bed but like I say say come and goes at different stages. Xxx
Thankyou Yes I get the same, cough sneeze or turn in bed and the pain starts but it doesn’t last long it’s more of a sudden pain. It did worry me but that has made me feel a bit better about it x I have a private early scan in 7 days to make sure everything is ok and I’m just really excited to hear a heart beat once I hear that I will probably be less paranoid haha!
Yeah it’s a very sharp pain and I have let out a couple of yelps when it’s happened as its painful but like you say doesn’t last long thankfully.Everybody gets anxious before their first scan as your mind can go into overdrive looking and comparing things. For me I was anxious for most of the scan purely because there is always a different hurdle to pass but know it’s normal to feel that way.
Hi BabyOleg, I'm in exactly the same boat as you, same week, same symptoms, I have also the pains and when coughing etc. I got my bfp on sunday! I have been paranoid so I have booked an early scan on 31/8. All the best x🙂
