Really worried!

I had quite a bleed yesterday. Very scary. I'm 7 weeks. I have got to go to the Early Pregnancy Unit Monday. Feeling nervous. Has anyone else been there before?

I, too, had an episode while of 11 weeks. It could be a sign of implantation - fairly called "implantation bleeding" - and is quite common during the first trimester. Since you are already at the hospital, they will assess your situation through an emergency ultrasound, which is to assure that it is indeed implantation bleeding and that pregnancy is progressing. It is usually the case and I trust the same might be true for you...don't worry as you already got the help you need.

Thanks you for letting me know. Spoken to GP Friday who said it could be that or because I conceived through ivf they say it could be the virginal tablets I use. Not clotting much.

Is it OK to have small blood clots. Not all the time or anything big?

I had some bleeding with some small clots and went to the EPAU earlier this week. (I'm at about 9 weeks.) Everything was fine in the tests and scans, and they said it was nothing to worry about. Hope your appointment is similarly reassuring!
