Sharp and quick cramping - what does it mean?

Hello ladies,

I was wondering if you can help me please.

I’m 14+4 today and having some sharp and quick little cramps, intermittently (which lasts probably 2-3 seconds each). No bleeding whatsoever so was wondering if I should be worried or not? What can it be?

I’ve looked at my stomach (have a mini bump if you can call it that..) and seems to be twitching (weird!)....is it related to the cramping? Can it be the uterus expanding?

Bear with me, it’s my first pregnancy 🙈😂

That's good, you'll probably get lots of weird feelings and aches as your body adapts and changes to make space for baby. All work it in the end 😁

My friend had this recently at 13 weeks. She took videos as she was convinced it was her baby kicking as her stomach was visibly twitching. Her pregnancy is all going really well

It is most likely just your uterus expanding. I would suggest if you are worried at all then call your midwife for advice.
