I’m 6+2 weeks and Ive been suffering quite bad with nausea for the past week and a half but luckily I’ve been off work so have just kind of slept through it. Today I’m back in work and I passed out a few hours ago. I just feel horrendous! I’ve not been sick it’s just the nausea but I’m unable to eat until it has settled down, I’ve been nibbling on dry crackers to try and get me through it. At what point would you go to the GP? I feel silly as this happens to loads of women but I just don’t know what else to do

When to get help
Congratulations hun. Go to your Gp now hopefully they'll prescribe some antisickness and it will help. Don't feel silly nausea really wrecks your day. It depressed me. Xx
My GP is awful so I feel like she will probably refuse that’s why I’m delaying it as long as I can 😂 it’s just the worst isn’t it xx
Oh no. My gp said to me it's best to start taking them before you start throwing up it should help you not throw up. Unfortunately tablets don't work for me only I v anti sickness has worked. But thankfully I'm over that now. It is really horrible i feel for you, can't you speak with another Gp? Xx
Get help now, it took me weeks to find the right antisickness medication, you shouldn’t suffer to this extent, if you’ve been prescribed cyclizine in the past for endo that’s safe during pregnancy, but it could take a while to work out what helps xx
I'm 7 weeks and I would still describe my nausea as mild. If I was feeling as you describe I would have been already to the doctor! There is no point in suffering, it's neither good for you or for the baby.
Now don't wait to see someone if your suffering they will give you anti sickness tabs get well soon x
I started taking cyclizine two weeks ago after my symptoms of nausea became unbearable. I called my GP, described my symptoms and mentioned that my midwife had suggested calling the docs if my symptoms persisted. I was exhausted and feeling either sick or uncomfortable most of the time, with some respite in the evenings. As soon as I started taking cyclizine my partner said it's like you're back again, as I'd been so quiet and tired from week 6 until that point. I'm now week ten and feeling much better on the medication. I experienced some side effects initially, headaches, dizziness etc. but they faded after a few days and I was able to function again. I hope you too find some relief
