PGP symptoms

Hi, I’m 21 weeks pregnant. About a week ago I’ve started experiencing a discomfort often over pubic bone at the front, below my tummy. Difficulty lying in some positions, turning over in bed, usually with some clicking, pain standing. Not necessarily when climbing stairs, no pain shifting from one side to another, neither during normal daily activities. After Dr’s consultation over phone, presumably I might have symptoms of PGP. Some research online saying it may be, occasionally, the position of the baby producing symptoms related to PDP. I am exercises daily(yoga, walking). Could some of the yoga positions make it worst? Would I need to meet the physiotherapist first?

Thank you

Hello the midwife advised me about pelvic pain to keep legs together as much as possible like when getting in and out of bed. To get up roll on side and let legs flop down pushing upwards with arms. Using paracetamol, warm compresses or hot water bottle. You can self refer to women's health physio at local hospital also the hospital has some information leaflets on website. Sorry I don't know about yoga.

Thank you,

GP referred myself to physiotherapist, the waiting list is quite long

I believe, have to be patient, meanwhile will follow your advise as well.

Hi, hope you're ok and by now your little one must have arrived already! I hope everything went well :)I'm 32 weeks, my first baby and experiencing PGD exactly the way you have described it. Could you recommend anything that helped you and did it affect your labour and delivery?

Thank you
