I’m nearly 29 weeks pregnant and the last week or so I’ve been feeling really hungry at around 10.30/11pm but struggle to know what to eat as a snack as it’s shortly before going to sleep. I don’t eat nuts at all and I often have a banana with breakfast so don’t want to have more than one a day. Trying to avoid sugary or fatty foods if possible. Any suggestions please?

Late night snack advice
Do you like avocado? I used to wolf avocado on 2 x wholemeal toast as a snack when I was pregnant. Full of good fats. I'd spread marmite on the toast first for extra tastiness 😋 Recently I've been adding a bit of cream cheese as well. (Turns out I'm a proper glutton 😂) Maybe a bowl of cereal? Good luck with your pregnancy xxx
Ooo breaking news; just added sliced mozzarella instead of cream cheese for today's breakfast. Utterly heavenly!! xx
😆👏🏻 x
I used to have a few crackers sometimes with cheese, or peanut butter on a crumpet just before going to sleep as I was the same even after a big dinner. Good luck with everything x
Thank you, I love crumpets but haven’t bought/had any for ages. Excellent idea; thank you so much 😊 xx
Omg, melted cheese on crumpets too!! 😋😋😋 (again, best with marmite!!! 😂) xx
I would end up having a bowl of cereal before bed as was starving plus my craving was coco pops x
I usually have couple of crackers
Thanks everyone. So much choice of what to have when tonight’s hunger strikes! 😋 x
I used too get this about 9.30pm and I didn’t wanna eat too much right before bed, so I used too have some cream crackers.
I am 25 weeks and I've been snacking a lot on breakfast bars, Belvitas and Special K, they're not the healthiest of things but they make you feel like its healthy and they have fibre in! lol
Also popcorn, you can get healthier ones, they're low in fat and also have fibre in!
This thread is making me so hungry!
