I have recently found out I am 6 weeks pregnant which is great news, however, my breasts and nipples aren't as sensitive and my areola isn't as dark as they have been for the past week or so. I am worried that this is not normal. I know that all pregnancies are very different, but has anyone experienced this before?
I had a silent miscarriage at 16 weeks 18 months ago. This is the first pregnancy since this has happened, so I am not sure if I am being extremely sensitive or whether I should be worried.
Any advice or experiences shared, would be really helpful.
Many thanks

Hi there
Sorry to hear what happened to you previously, it's so easy not to worry. I wouldn't say your being sensitive at all, it natural to feel so many emotions.
Its important to remember all pregnancies are different, I'm now nearly 13 weeks, I havent noticed the darkening around my nipples however my actual nipples have been extremely sensitive since about week 9, also I had no nausea/sickness until week 7 (I prayed something would come so it would feel real & exactly week 7 it came & hasn't left)
Honestly don't feel bad about feeling so many different things its natural but i would say to try & enjoy & relax & trust your body xx
Thank you for your reassurance, kind words and for sharing your experience - congratulations on your pregnancy!
You are right in that everyone is completely different - I am just paranoid but I know that is not going to help. I will certainly try to relax and enjoy the process.
I hope the sickness eases off, I haven't experienced physical sickness but I do feel slighly sick in the evenings.
Thank you so much, take care and wishing you all the best xxx
Congratulations to you too as I missed that out in previous post. Please do keep us updated & I've realised this forum is great for support so even if your ever having an off day or want to share those precious milestones the support is here xx
Hiya, I'm 14 weeks and zero change to mine since I got pregnant. It really freaks me out too but all was fine at my 12 week scan. I don't know why it's so different for different people, just stresses us all out. I wonder if it was easier back in the day before people could talk to each other about such things! Wishing you the best of luck!
