Hey

I have read on a couple of ladies who have noticed bleeding in the first trimester or even second .. don’t stress too much .. I know it’s easier said than done.. but wait till you see the scan tomorrow. I hope it’s good news. Wishing you the very best x

Some soon to be mums to bleed while pregnant and everything is fine with the baby...unfortunately the same thing happened to me when I got pregnant first and sadly had a miscarriage but I’m pregnant again now and so far so good! But don’t worry Lizzie! If your bleeding there might be more than one baby in the oven. I hope everything goes ok! X

At the very beginning from 5& a half weeks right up till around 14 weeks i had episodes of bleeds somedays more then others some just very light spotting once or twice aday i ended up having a couple of emergy scans to check but

I never got an answer as to why the bleeding was happening but im now almost 26weeks and baby is healthy

I no how how pointless it is someone telling you not to worry because till you no youv been scanned and you can see your self bby is ok the stress and worry doesnt ease

But i hope all is ok and you get some good news at your scan

Am so sorry to hear that Lizzie 💔..

Did they take blood to test for HCG levels? Only saying as you only got a positive a few days ago and it could have been too early to see anything even on an internal scan especially considering you don't know exactly when you ovulated because of the pcos, I take it they did a vaginal scan? Have they told you to go back again for a repeat in a week or so?

Bleeding is very common, our ed is 18 weeks pregnant with her first and has had two episodes, one of which was a 5 day bleed exactly the same as her normal AF at around 4 weeks and more at around 8-9 weeks. I myself had 4 children and number 3, strangely our ed, had me bleeding every month so I didn't find out I was pregnant until 16+ weeks, I had no other symptoms either.

I'm not saying they're wrong but I hope they at the very least did the bloods for you. Sending hugs xx

they literally just did a scan and a urine test .. all they said was .. "sorry looks like uve had a m/c u can leave when ever u want " ....

How’s the bleeding now? I’d repeat the hpt in a few days time in the early morning just in case, as the one they did at the hospital wouldn't have been a first morning sample. If that comes out negative then I’m sorry 😔

Can’t believe they didn’t take bloods to measure the hcg given the fact you’re unsure of your dates, sounds like they were really understanding too, not! 🙄 xx

the blessing has almost stopped completely.. I've had zero cramps or pains .. I plan on re-taking a test in the next couple of weeks .. they were so off and distant with me it was unprofessional and honestly made taking the news much harder than it may have been with a bit of sympathy

All the best and sorry you have to go through this. I am 19weeks pregnant and also had a few episodes of bleeding from 5 weeks upto 9 weeks. Had quite a number of emergency scans - found out I had a haematoma next to the uterus. One time I bled so profusely I was sure it was a M/C and it was painful too, but I just prayed and took complete bed rest and thankfully the body absorbed the clot. It disappeared after 9 weeks and (touchwood) hasn’t come back since. Hang in there and hope your scan goes well. Babies are resilient creatures.
