Baby scan prices

Hey, I’ve got my first baby scan on Wednesday at Eastbourne hospital East Sussex.

What’s the general price for your area.?

On the NHS scans are free?

If you mean for the photos at our hospital they were £5 each.

Hi, the actual scans are free (if NHS) but for the piccies the charge at our hospital is £3 per photo. The sonographer put a few extras in though for us and only charged us for 1. Don't know if this is the case for every NHS hospital, but that's the going rate where I live. Plus you can't pay cash, they only deal with cards x

At Doncaster hospital they are £5 each or 3 for £10. We have to pay on a machine for them with either cash or card then show the sonographer the receipt when they hand over the photos xx

Do you mean the scan photos???

Ours were free, we had 3 1st scan, 5 2nd and we had another scan, can’t think how many weeks I was, but I must of been 30+ and they gave us 4 then for free z

We paid £5 for the pictures but we’re told there would be a fee at booking.

You have to pay? When I had my son 15 years ago they were free 😮
