TTC!!
If you had unprotected sex around your ovulation time, you could have conceived.
The spotting would not be indicative of anything this early, you might see implantation spotting around 14 days after conception but after a day the egg would only just have been fertilised and would not have implanted yet.
Have you had a smear test lately? I had spotting after sex and had some abnormal cells picked up at my smear test. After treatment for those I've never had spotting after sex.
No I didn’t have a smear test at all but I’m hoping I did conceive I’m just confused on what to look for to see if I conceived any tips on what to look for ovulation is over and cervix is extremely soft and I’m still spotting
Spotting so close to when you've had sex isn't a sign of conception. It takes about 2 weeks from ovulation for any pregnancy to implant which is when you'd expect to see spotting.
Closer to your period you might feel sore boobs, nausea etc but the symptoms are very similar to having a period so to go on any symptoms up till your period is due aren't always accurate.
The best sign you've got pregnant is that you miss your period. You can test from about 3 days before and might get a positive result, but you're better off waiting till you've missed your period and then testing as your hormone levels take time to build up.
If you're sexually active and haven't had a smear test, if you're over 25 then I'd recommend contacting your surgery to arrange one. You should have them every 4 years, because spotting after sex is not normal so you should get it checked out.
Well maybe it’s because of rough sex maybe that’s why I’m spotting but last week when I didn’t have sex I had spotting for a day then as well so I’m confused but I had sex 2 of the days when I was fertile
If you were spotting last week when you didn't have sex and now you're spotting after sex I'd suggest you get checked out by your doctor and request a smear test and STI check as spring between period should always be checked out.
If you've had unprotected sex around your fertile times of the month when your period is due or you miss your period you'll be able to test and see if you're pregnant.
You would not be spotting due to being pregnant the day after you've had sex.
Irritation from rough sex might cause a bit of blood when you wipe around the time of it, but as others have said spotting multiple times throughout your cycle between each period can be a worrying symptom of something more sinister.
You NEED to get booked in with a GP to have a smear test as soon as possible to make sure there is nothing abnormal going on. If you were to get pregnant you would have to wait 12 weeks pp to have a smear test, which would mean it would be a year from first onset of symptoms before you were getting treatment if needed. Please see a GP about this as even if you are pregnant this will need to be monitored.
It’s from rough sex nothing serious this only happens once because I usually never have rough sex last time I had pink was because I was ovulating this time was just a case of rough sex that’s all
I have never had spotting from ovulation nor from rough sex. The only time I bled when not on my period and after sex I had abnormal cells picked up on a smear test. I had to have treatment to remove these before they became anything worse.
I know you've put the spotting down to other things but if you haven't had a smear test recently or ever, it might be worth getting one just to rule out anything more serious.
I don't think you would spot that quickly due to implantation bleeding. If you're using an app to track ovulation it may not be that accurate.
Also, if you're doing the deed several times a day your partners semen will not be as effective.
If you're trying for a family I'd get to know the changes in your body during your cycle, invest in some ovulation strips, and perhaps get some bloods taken to ensure that you in fact do ovulate. Your GP can arrange this for you 🙂
